According to a report from Defensa Central via Fichajes, Liverpool would be willing to offer 150 million to sign the Uruguayan international. Real Madrid do not intend to sell him anytime soon.
Real Madrid do not need to raise funds and therefore it will be quite difficult to convince them to sell the midfielder. Valverde has established himself as a key player for the Spanish giants and he might not be keen on a move away from the club either.
It is no secret that Liverpool need quality midfielders after the departure of Thiago Alcantara. Valverde would be an ideal fit for them, capable of slotting into multiple roles, helping defensively and creatively.
