Harlequins legend Evans to leave after 18 seasons
"After 18 years of living and breathing this club, it's incredibly difficult to put into words what it means to myself and my family. I leave feeling hugely grateful and honoured not only to have worn the shirt and represented those legends who came before us, but also to have shared that journey as a player and a coach with the incredible supporters who make this club so special."
"There can be no doubt of Nick's contribution on and off the field and we are immensely grateful for his commitment to this club across so many years."
Nick Evans, Harlequins' all-time points scorer and current attack coach, will depart the club at the end of the season after 18 years. He joined Harlequins in 2008, winning the Premiership title as a player in 2012 and as a coach in 2021. Evans expressed gratitude for his time at the club, highlighting the significance of his journey with players and supporters. He scored 2,249 points in 208 games, a record for the club. The club plans to celebrate his contributions before his departure.
