Joe Launchbury, a former England and Harlequins lock, will retire at the end of the season. He earned 70 England caps and participated in multiple Six Nations and World Cups. Launchbury joined Harlequins in 2023, making 50 appearances. He expressed that the time feels right to step away, citing the need for a break. Launchbury began his career at Wasps, where he made 170 appearances and captained the team. He hopes to remain involved in rugby while looking forward to spending time with his family.
