Neil Lennon has voiced concerns over a glaring disparity in quality and attitude between Celtic and Rangers, particularly after Rangers' recent home defeat to Motherwell. This loss marked Rangers' third in a row and left them 16 points adrift of Celtic, who are on the verge of clinching their fourth Scottish Premiership title. Lennon suggests that beyond mere player changes, Rangers need a cultural and psychological overhaul to improve their on-field performance. He points out that while Rangers have good players, their mentality often falls short against expectations, leading to disappointing results against lesser teams.
"Everyone talks about a rebuild - for me it's a change of culture and psychology [needed at Rangers], more than anything else," Lennon stated, emphasizing the need for a mindset shift over roster changes.
"The culture at Celtic and the culture at Rangers is miles apart," Lennon added, stressing the significant disparity in attitudes and quality between the two clubs which must be addressed.
