"Hearts had enough chances to have won more convincingly, but their supporters greeted the full-time whistle with jubilation as they stretched their lead over Rangers and Celtic, who face each other at Ibrox on Sunday."
"Aberdeen had not won at Tynecastle since May 2017 and they swiftly found themselves on the back foot as Hearts, backed by a pumped-up home support, started strongly."
"Hearts were playing some scintillating football and they had a huge chance in the 21st minute when Kabore got himself clean through but the forward's lob over the advancing Mitov drifted agonisingly wide."
Hearts secured a 1-0 victory over Aberdeen at Tynecastle, with Claudio Braga scoring just before halftime. The win extended Hearts' lead to seven points over Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership. Hearts made two lineup changes, with Jamie McCart and Landry Kabore replacing Stuart Findlay and Islam Chesnokov. Aberdeen, under interim manager Peter Leven, made three changes including goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov. Hearts dominated possession and created numerous chances, though they failed to extend their advantage beyond the single goal. Aberdeen had not won at Tynecastle since May 2017 and struggled to generate attacking opportunities throughout the match. Sir Alex Ferguson, who last won the Scottish title with Aberdeen in 1983-85, attended as a guest of Hearts coach Derek McInnes.
