Conor Bradley will be back for Northern Ireland's upcoming friendlies against Denmark and Iceland, crucial as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Missing previous matches due to a hamstring injury, Bradley has since returned for Liverpool. O'Neill's squad, set to play in Copenhagen and Belfast, sees several players back from injuries while others remain absent. The matches are vital in building team strength ahead of their qualifying campaign, starting with important away fixtures in September against Luxembourg and Germany.
"We have one or two still missing from injury," said O'Neill. "We could be a little bit stronger, if I'm honest, but it's nice at this minute in time, and hopefully we get through the weekend..."
Bradley missed the friendlies in March against Switzerland and Sweden with a hamstring injury, but returned for Liverpool in the closing stages of their title-winning Premier League campaign before penning a new long-term deal at Anfield.
O'Neill's side will travel to Copenhagen on 7 June before hosting Iceland in Belfast three days later in what are the last games before the 2026 World Cup qualifiers begin in September.
In March, Northern Ireland drew 1-1 with Switzerland before falling to a 5-1 loss to Sweden.
