Boost to Wealdstone FC stadium ambitions
Briefly

Wealdstone FC has secured exclusive rights to two plots of land in Uxbridge, as part of an agreement with Hillingdon Council aimed at establishing a permanent stadium and training ground. The club is given three years to secure funding and plan for a new 6,000-seat stadium at these locations, important for its future. Acting chairman Dominic Whyley expressed the club's delight, highlighting the move's potential benefits for community activities. The council also sees this development as advantageous for the local community, aligning with regional growth objectives.
We are absolutely delighted to have been granted this exclusivity agreement to facilitate the club's need to find a new permanent home, which is vital to securing its future and all its ancillary community activities.
A new stadium and the associated facilities could provide many benefits to the borough, and I look forward to seeing the proposals as they take shape.
