Zoom raises its simultaneous viewer cap to 1 million after massive fundraising calls
Briefly

Zoom's expanded capacity webinar offering is revolutionizing the way organizations can seamlessly connect and engage with massive audiences, allowing events with up to 1 million attendees.
In July, an organization called Win with Black Women held a Zoom call with more than 40,000 attendees, raising over $1.5 million for Harris in just three hours.
Virtual events for the Harris/Walz campaign significantly contributed to fundraising, bringing in around $20 million of the $310 million raised in July.
Before this change, Zoom allowed up to 100,000 people to attend its webinar calls, creating a new landscape for virtual engagements as it expanded capacity.
