Wisconsin's extreme gerrymandering, highlighted by a dinosaur-shaped legislative district, could come to an end with the adoption of new voting maps passed by the Wisconsin Legislature.
Among the irregularities in the current maps was a district in the northwest corner of the state known as the 73rd Assembly District, which had strategically added Republican areas and subtracted Democratic ones. The resulting shape of the district resembled a Tyrannosaurus rex.
