During a town hall event in LaCrosse, Donald Trump humorously revealed he was unaware it was a town hall until moments before it started, expressing surprise.
Trump stated, "I figured I was going to come here and we're going to make a speech. I was ready. They said, Sir, you're doing a town hall. I said, Ohhhh, nobody told me that."
He elaborated jokingly, "I see a lot of television over the place, so maybe it's on all of them. Why doesn't somebody tell me this stuff?"
In his interaction with Gabbard, Trump noted, "I have a speech all set for you. We were set to give you one hell of a speech."
