Stephen A. Smith Says Biden Farewell Speech Just Made Him Sad': Silence or a Simply Goodbye Would Suffice'

Stephen A. Smith reflected on President Biden's farewell speech, stating, "I was sad. Of course, the president is entitled, and he should give a farewell speech... sometimes you say, Silence or a simple goodbye would suffice."

Smith criticized Biden's transition from a transitional president, declaring, "He was supposed to step away... and you didn't do that. You decided that you wanted to stay in the race, and then you got exposed."

He argued that much of the American public was not engaged with Biden's message, asserting, "Unfortunately there's not a lot of Americans that were interested in hearing what he had to say tonight, Smith said. And that’s sad."
