As if Biden family falsehoods about their foreign enrichment schemes weren't enough to invite congressional scrutiny, now Hunter Biden is defying a lawful subpoena. As if the millions of dollars that flowed from foreign oligarchs to Biden-related entities would not make any reasonable person wonder what was given in return, Team Biden is now treating investigations of this river of cash as somehow illegitimate. Do the Bidens believe that daring the Republican House to impeach the president is good politics? As with the Biden Justice Department's prosecutions of Donald Trump, the new Hunter Biden demand for special treatment almost seems designed to provoke partisan responses on both sides of the aisle.
