Miranda Devine: It is so easy to mock the sick and rudderless Democrats
Briefly

The article outlines two controversial actions by the Democratic Party that exemplify a perceived moral decline. The first involves Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’ budget bill, which uses the term "inseminated persons" in lieu of "mothers" and “parents,” igniting concerns about the erasure of traditional family roles. The second highlights Connecticut's Psychiatry Security Review Board's decision to release a cannibal murderer, raising alarm about public safety and the judgment of the justice system. Together, these actions reflect a broader unease with Democratic policies and practices.
As a proud mother of two, it is absolutely insulting that the Governor, in his 2025-27 budget bill, would reduce me and millions of other mothers across Wisconsin to 'inseminated persons.'
The budget bill... replaces 'father' with 'parent' over 120 times... Orwellian constructions such as 'pregnant people' and 'inseminated persons' are the inevitable result.
The Psychiatry Security Review Board approved the early release... of a cannibal axe murderer who ate his victim's brain and eyeball... deemed 'not guilty by reason of insanity'.
The decision by the board... which was appointed by Connecticut's Democrat Gov. Ned Lamont, raised concerns among citizens about public safety and moral judgment.
