Miami New Times publisher, Adam Simon, admitted oversight for a controversial ad that slipped through without review, prompting a change in ad review processes.
The ad in question referred to a 1985 Senate hearing where Biden quoted racist remarks, taken out of context on social media before, and featured side-by-side mugshots of Trump and a Miami activist.
The Miami activist, Maurice Symonette, who founded Blacks for Trump, stood by the controversial ad's claims despite its provocative nature.
Simon acknowledged the oversight and took full responsibility for the ad's unacceptable language, emphasizing that it should not have been allowed to run.
