LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman gives $7M to Harris - while demanding she fire FTC chair Lina Khan
Briefly

Reid Hoffman, the LinkedIn co-founder and a Democratic mega-donor, reportedly donated $7 million to Vice President Kamala Harris and promptly demanded that she fire Federal Trade Commission (FTC) chair Lina Khan, who has been targeting Big Tech firms for alleged anti-competitive practices.
Hoffman criticized Khan for 'waging war on American business' and expressed his belief that Harris would be 'much more pro-business' than former President Donald Trump, mainly due to his anti-tariff stance, which Hoffman deemed 'anti-business'.
Despite Harris' intent to raise corporate tax rates and retain some of Trump's tariffs, Hoffman emphasized that what's crucial for businesses is the stability and unity of the country, rather than minor tax discrepancies.
Speculations have arisen that both Harris and Biden administration might replace Khan and Jonathan Kanter, the assistant attorney general heading the Justice Department's antitrust division, if they win the upcoming presidential elections.
