GOP's Burchett Corrected on Pronunciation of Kamala Harris's Name, Says Fox Got His Name Wrong and I Didn't Pitch a Fit'

Rep. Tim Burchett was corrected on the pronunciation of Vice President Kamala Harris's name, prompting questions about whether mispronunciation was intentional, a topic highlighted on CSPAN.

Burchett claimed he was unaware of the correct pronunciation of Harris's name, stating, "No, ma'am, I don't know how she pronounces it. This is the first time anybody's ever told me that."

Critics, including Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski, assert that Republicans mispronounce Harris's name as part of a hate campaign, stating, "They purposefully pronounce her name wrong... it is on purpose."

Burchett defended himself saying, "I have a name that no one pronounces correctly, even fellow conservatives. I don't pitch a fit... so it's Kamala? Okay, I stand corrected."
