DNC executive producer Ricky Kirshner clarified that rumors about Beyoncé's surprise appearance were false, stating they denied it every time the media inquired.

Director Glenn Weiss noted the bizarre nature of the rumors, explaining that even his own staff members questioned him about Beyoncé's alleged participation: 'It was pretty crazy.'

Despite widespread speculation, Kirshner emphasized they had no plans for Beyoncé to perform, questioning why they would overshadow the Democratic nominee for president.

Although Beyoncé didn't appear, she authorized the Harris campaign to use her song 'Freedom' for events and ads, which played frequently during the DNC.
