Barstool founder Dave Portnoy pushed the baseless theory that President Joe Biden was set up for failure in his debate with Donald Trump to be replaced by California Governor Gavin Newsom.
Portnoy claimed Democrats knew Biden would perform poorly in the debate as an excuse to put Newsom in his place, stating 'they wanna whack him... They know he is not going to be the nominee.'
Despite Portnoy's theory, Biden had the final say in the debate and remains committed to the scheduled debates, with Democrats including Barack Obama reaffirming their support for him.
