He said the situation was obvious without medical expertise and argued that party leaders and staff failed to respond. Cuomo questioned where party strategists and the chief of staff were during the period when Biden’s capability was in doubt. His remarks followed a leaked internal Democratic National Committee autopsy draft about the 2024 election, which blamed Biden allies for not rallying quickly enough behind Vice President Kamala Harris. The draft did not mention Biden’s decline and omitted issues including the selection of Tim Walz and shifts on Israel policy.
