Morehouse is in Georgia, a swing state Biden flipped from Trump; his speech aimed at young Black men post-election to repair voter support.
President David Thomas highlighted the importance of Biden's speech despite opposition, stating, 'If Morehouse can't hold those tensions, then no place can.'
Biden faces challenges with Black voters and young demographics; approval rates among Black adults and 18- to 29-year-olds have declined since earlier in his presidency.
