Nearly half of all Latinos in the poll (49%) think presumptive Democratic nominee Harris is better on border security than Biden, the survey found.
Despite being part of the Biden administration, Harris is starting with a clean slate, and half or more Latino voters view Harris just as good or better at providing a vision for the future than Biden.
Border security ranked only eighth among the top concerns for Latino voters, with inflation, housing affordability, and jobs and wages being the top three concerns.
She's got the benefit of the doubt and she's in a strong spot to start, indicating a favorable outlook for Harris among Latino voters.
