"Today, because Donald Trump overturned Roe v. Wade, the Arizona Supreme Court upheld an abortion ban from 1864 with no exceptions for health, rape, or incest," the Biden campaign said in a statement.
"This comes just one day after Trump looked straight into the camera and bragged that he is 'proudly the person responsible' for overturning Roe and enabling the extreme, dangerous bans that have followed - including in Arizona."
The Dobbs decision in which the Supreme Court rejected a federal right to abortion is cited repeatedly throughout the Arizona ruling, underscoring the difficult tightrope Trump is walking.
