Usha Chilukuri Vance resigned from her position at Munger, Tolles & Olson to focus on caring for her family, following her husband Sen. J.D. Vance's selection as Donald Trump's running mate in the 2024 election.
Her departure comes after a career as an excellent lawyer and colleague, having graduated from Yale Law and clerked for Judge Amul Thapar, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, and Chief Justice John Roberts. Her biography has already been taken down from the Munger Tolles website.
