According to BTI's Michael Rynowecer, 'Top legal decision makers point to 84 law firms they don't want to see on the other side. Only [four] of the 84 law firms clients don't want to litigate against stand out as the most fearsome.' These firms have established themselves as formidable opponents, giving in-house counsels a sense of security as they navigate complex litigation involving high stakes.
The report specifically names Quinn Emanuel as the top firm, marking its third consecutive year in this position. Kirkland & Ellis, Skadden, and Gibson Dunn are also highlighted as the most-feared firms that in-house counsels actively hope to avoid in litigation scenarios. This ranking showcases the intense competition among law firms to be recognized as leaders in litigation strategy and courtroom performance.
