Someone tried to take a firearm from a deputy at Saratoga Library
"Resisting/Delaying a Peace Officer, Attempt to Remove Firearm: Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Saratoga Library on Saratoga Avenue where someone hit two staff members. The suspect left the scene on a bicycle but was later located. Deputies observed the suspect commit a traffic violation and then stopped them. They investigated and found the suspect had an outstanding warrant. The suspect resisted deputies and attempted to remove a firearm from a deputy's holster. Deputies arrested and booked the suspect into the main jail."
"Nov. 21 Possession of Shuriken: Deputies responded to a suspicious person call at El Quito Park on Paseo Presada.They investigated and found the person was under the influence of alcohol and in possession of a shuriken. The weapon was surrendered, and the suspect was transported to a sobering station. The case is being submitted to the District Attorney's Office for review."
