Several thefts and burglaries reported in Los Gatos
"PETTY THEFT: 10:18 a.m. on Union Avenue. Someone stole a black and gray Trek FX1 bicycle. The total loss is around $800. PETTY THEFT: 2:46 p.m. at 7-11 on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A woman said her boyfriend's Uber took off with his belongings. The loss was about $500 and consisted of a bag, keys, Airpods, charger and clothes. She said she tried to contact Uber, but no one had responded to her."
"PETTY THEFT: 6:55 p.m. at Oak Meadow Park on Blossom Hill Road. Between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., a suspect broke into a woman's car and stole her wallet, which had her driver's license, health insurance card, credit cards and some cash. At around 3:30 p.m., the suspect made a $1,600 purchase on the woman's credit card at the Apple store. The woman cancelled her cards to prevent further purchases."
Between Nov. 14 and Nov. 16, multiple theft and burglary incidents were reported. On Nov. 14, a black and gray Trek FX1 bicycle valued around $800 was stolen from Union Avenue, and an Uber reportedly departed with a customer's belongings at a 7-11, totaling about $500. A blue e-bike with an Airtag was taken from a parking garage and later located on Alberto Way. A wallet stolen from a car at Oak Meadow Park led to a $1,600 unauthorized Apple Store charge before cards were canceled. On Nov. 15 a possible burglary was reported on Vineyard Court. On Nov. 16, a 2007 Mercedes CL550 was stolen and an attempted auto burglary occurred at Double D's.
