"Kaiwen Du, a 19-year-old resident of San Jose who was employed as an after-school program instructor at an elementary school in Sunnyvale, was booked on suspicion of crimes related to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material, according to a press release from the San Jose Police Department. Officials did not name the school where Du had been employed."

Investigators traced the material to his residence, obtained a search warrant, and arrested Du on Aug. 27. Multiple agencies assisted in the arrest and search. Evidence containing child sexual abuse material was recovered and Du was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail. Court charging status is unclear.
