San Jose: Police arrest man on suspicion of possessing child sexual abuse material
"Kaiwen Du, a 19-year-old resident of San Jose who was employed as an after-school program instructor at an elementary school in Sunnyvale, was booked on suspicion of crimes related to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material, according to a press release from the San Jose Police Department. Officials did not name the school where Du had been employed."

The San Jose Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children and Child Exploitation Detail opened an investigation in March 2025 after learning Du had been observed downloading and distributing prepubescent child sexual abuse material. Investigators traced the material to his residence, obtained a search warrant, and arrested Du on Aug. 27. Multiple agencies assisted in the arrest and search. Evidence containing child sexual abuse material was recovered and Du was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail. Court charging status is unclear.
