Gary Gwilliam, a prominent Oakland attorney, was honored with the inaugural Legend of The Law, Lifetime Achievement Award by the Alameda Contra Costa Trial Lawyers Association. A leader in civil litigation, Gwilliam has successfully tried over 180 jury cases and achieved significant verdicts across several counties. Aside from his courtroom achievements, he's known for his holistic approach to client representation, considering their emotional and spiritual wellbeing. He has contributed to legal education and authored articles on consumer law, while also focusing more recently on employment law and civil rights advocacy.
Gary is a fearless legend in the courtroom, but he is also an extraordinary human being - a self-described holistic lawyer who looks out for each client.
I am deeply honored to be receiving this Legend of The Law award. This organization has been and continues to be a very important part of my life.
