Bruneil Henry Chamaki, a lawyer, and brothers Roma and Ramon Akoyans are charged with assaulting two Israeli-American men in San Jose. The attack occurred while the victims were speaking Hebrew outside a restaurant. One defendant reportedly yelled an antisemitic slur during the incident. Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen emphasized the need for safe public spaces and stated that hate crime charges have not yet been filed.
