Hospitals' Price Transparency Compliance Is Improving Despite Remaining Low at 36%

It has been more than two and a half years since CMS' price transparency rule took effect, with only 36% of U.S. hospitals compliant. However, despite the fact that less than half of U.S. hospitals are in compliance, these rates have been steadily improving over time. This is according to a new from nonprofit Patient Rights Advocate - it analyzed the websites of 2,000 hospitals and found that only 721 of them were fully compliant with all the rule's requirements.
