Does the legal profession still need Latin?

My first exposure to this ancient language was in high school, where Latin was perceived as a mandatory course for future lawyers, reflecting the traditional association between Latin and the legal profession.
Even though Latin has a long history in the legal field with numerous expressions, its practical utility in modern legal practice is questioned, with some suggesting that its continued use may be more about showing off than necessity.
