Reshma Kamath allegedly assaulted flight crew members and airport personnel during and after Air India flight 173 from New Delhi to San Francisco on June 28. A federal grand jury indicted her on counts including interference with flight crew and attendants, assaulting or impeding a federal officer, and interference with security screening personnel. If convicted, she faces a combined maximum sentence of 58 years and up to $1 million in fines.
