Trans Big Brother star Zelah 'realised he was queer at 15'
"When I was six years old, if you looked at me then and look at me now, you'd think I went from A to B. I looked like a little version of me now. I had the skin fade and everything, I was still bullied for being a man in school. Like there's always something..."
"And then I realised I was queer around 15, things started to get better because I started to be a bit more masculine, went through my toxic masculinity phase, got a motorbike and my tattoos..."
""I'm making a conscious decision to just not bring it up for a bit.""
Zelah, a 25-year-old trans personal trainer from South London, became an early fan favourite on Big Brother for his looks and a spaniel comparison. He told housemate Sam that he resembled a younger version of himself at age six and experienced bullying for appearing masculine in school. He realised he was queer around 15, embraced increased masculinity, and described a 'toxic masculinity phase' that included getting a motorbike and tattoos. Zelah chose to delay discussing his transition publicly, saying he was making a conscious decision not to bring it up for a bit. Other housemates include Nancy, Gani, and Cameron.
