The Advocate is again nominated for a GLAAD Media Award as Outstanding Magazine
"The Advocate is nominated for Outstanding Magazine - Overall Coverage in the 37 th Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Nominations were announced Wednesday. The magazine won the Overall Coverage award in 2025, 2023, 2022, and 2020, and won for Outstanding Print Article in 2021. Out, a sister publication of The Advocate, won the Overall Coverage award in 2024 and is nominated in that category again this year."
"The Advocate is also nominated in the Outstanding Online or Print Journalism Article category for senior national reporter Christopher Wiggins's story " As the first out trans person in Congress, Sarah McBride is ready to fight for us." The awards recognize fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ+ people and issues across a wide swath of media, including television, film, music, theater, podcasts, journalism, Spanish-language media, and more."

The awards honor accurate, inclusive LGBTQ+ representation across media and will be presented March 5 in Los Angeles.
