Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer reinforces her position as a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community in a recent appearance on the "Gaydar Show" on Instagram. During the interview, she highlighted Michigan's progressive actions, including a 2023 law that bans conversion therapy for minors and the establishment of an LGBTQ+ commission. Whitmer asserted the importance of respecting and protecting transgender individuals, particularly amid current political climates that threaten their safety. She also shared personal anecdotes and reiterated her commitment as a "fierce ally" to the LGBTQ+ community.
