Gena Mimozo's journey in the arts began at 15 when they saw 'Rent' on Broadway, inspiring a lifelong passion. After learning cello in school and participating in theater, Mimozo pursued a degree in theatre design, technology, and management at Wagner College. They have since become the deputy director and grants administrator at Staten Island Arts, focusing on making the arts accessible to everyone in the community. Mimozo's story highlights the vital role of arts in personal development and community engagement.
