Meet Bottom G, the "gay Andrew Tate" who's confusing swathes of the internet - Queerty
"Hinds at first ignored the comments. However, it reached a stage when he couldn't dismiss them. He decided he might as well lean into it. He started calling himself "Bottom G", as a pun on Tate referencing himself as "Top G." Hinds has since delighted the internet with videos that have exploited his resemblance to Tate. At the same time, he's also attempted to promote his own budding career as a singer."
"Things went viral a couple of weeks ago when crypto casino Duel hired Hinds to host a Blackjack livestream. At first, viewers assumed they were watching Tate, even if he seemed unusually subdued and silent. However, Hinds eventually started breaking out some dance moves and doing the splits on the table. At another point, he grabbed a nearby assistant, and they began making out."
"Duel said it believed it was hiring the real Andrew Tate through a third-party influencer management agency. When Hinds turned up, they realized it was not Tate, but it was too late to cancel the livestream. "It was an impostor. By this point we are too far in and the costs have been incurred, so we are forced to run with it to save face," it said on its Discord channel."
Bottom G, also known as Brian Michael Hinds, is a 29-year-old former dancer who launched as a content creator to promote his music. His social media videos attracted attention, but many viewers focused on his resemblance to Andrew Tate, especially when he wore sunglasses. Instead of dismissing the comparisons, he embraced them by adopting the name “Bottom G,” referencing Tate’s “Top G.” His online presence grew further when a crypto casino hired him to host a Blackjack livestream. Viewers initially thought they were watching Tate, but Hinds later performed dance moves, splits, and public kissing. The casino said it believed it hired Tate through an agency and could not cancel after realizing the mistake. Hinds disputes the casino’s account.
