The 25-year-old lifestyle influencer's body was discovered beaten to d*ath in Mae Sot district, according to Bangkok Post. He was wearing a yellow shirt and black trousers, which had been unbuckled and pulled down."

Ko Tin Zaw Htwe, 25, a Myanmar national and popular LGBTQ+ TikTok creator with nearly one million followers, was discovered dead beneath a tree in Mae Sot district on 20 January. The body was found facedown and bloodied, with trousers pulled down and severe facial trauma consistent with being struck by a hard object. A blood-stained wooden rod was located nearby and is believed to be the murder weapon. He went missing from his accommodation on 18 January after receiving a call for help on social media and did not return. Mae Sot Police believe two suspects lured him to a secluded spot; one suspect has been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.
