"On 23 September, the five-time Grammy nominee shared a brief 15-second clip of the music video, which features the star being pressed against a grimy bathroom sink by a man who then appears to go in for a kiss. In the next scene, a hand comes up towards Khalid's chest, suggesting the man is on his knees. The clip continues with Khalid being joined in the bathroom by four other men, one shirtless, others in various tight-fitting and mesh garments. A woman also appears in the clip, dancing against the wall."
"The musician was lathered with praise by fans after posting the clip of "Out Of Body", but grim, thinly-veiled comments came in thick and fast too - despite the full music video not being out yet. Khalid, who came out as gay last year after being outed and said he was "not ashamed," shared a 15-second teaser for his single "Out Of Body" on 23 September. The clip shows intimate scenes in a grimy bathroom with multiple men and a woman, set to trancey, industrial-strength synths, and features suggestive physical contact. "Out Of Body" is the second single from his fourth album After the Sun Goes Down, due 10 October, following August's "In Plain Sight." Fans praised the clip while some critics posted thinly veiled, homophobic comments and comparisons to other queer artists.
