Drag Race star says show appearance helped her realise she was trans
Briefly

Amanda Tori Meating, after coming out as trans during her Drag Race season, noted that being addressed with she/her pronouns brought her significant gender euphoria and helped affirm her identity as a woman.
Recalling her journey, Amanda shared that casting and the affirmation from co-stars prompted her to accept her identity, stating, 'If [Morphine, who] known me for a matter of weeks is already picking up on this, maybe that's something to consider!'
Amanda reflected on her time on Drag Race, saying, 'I remember Morphine [Love Dion] looked at me and said, ‘Oh, b*tch, you are such an egg’, leading me to investigate my feelings about being trans.'
She mentioned her history of considering her gender identity, explaining that it was a thought she had been 'pushing to the back of my mind' before ultimately embracing her truth.
