Christian conservative leader rages at Presbyterian Church for honoring "obscene" Renee Good - LGBTQ Nation
"professional left-wing zealot who rejected every tenet of civil disobedience,"
""life and death echo" his "same moral call.""
"Renee Good was the complete antithesis of what King stood for,"
"Both carried whistles, the purpose of which was to alert illegal aliens that ICE agents were in the vicinity, thus obstructing the pursuit of justice,"
Renee Nicole Good, a queer wife and mother, was fatally shot in the head by ICE agent Jonathan Ross while driving away from a protest. Bill Donohue of the Catholic League published nearly 650 words smearing Good, mischaracterizing her actions, denigrating her queer identity and claiming she 'ran her car into an ICE agent' despite video evidence showing otherwise. Donohue called a Presbyterian Church statement comparing Good to Martin Luther King Jr. 'obscene' and accused Good of training protesters to obstruct ICE by using whistles to alert migrants. He framed the agent as traumatized from a prior incident to justify the shooting.
