Stretch of Wilshire Boulevard closes for three weeks for Metro expansion project

Starting Monday, parts of Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills will be closed for three weeks for the Metro D Line Extension Project. The closure affects the area between Crescent Drive and east of El Camino Drive until April 7. Crews will be engaged in removing concrete deck panels and restoring streets and utilities, aiming for project completion by 2027. While road access is limited, pedestrian access will be preserved. Notably, no closures will take place during holidays or regional events, and temporary changes to bus routes will also be implemented to manage traffic.
