Relevant Group, having sold the historic Morrison Hotel, plans to construct a 531-unit apartment complex with shops and restaurants adjacent to the hotel. The project aims to provide affordable housing as part of its development.
The new project, which will include an eight-story building featuring 531 studio apartments, will incorporate ground-floor commercial spaces and is designed with multiple courtyards and a rooftop deck.
Relevant Group previously intended to redevelop the block to include both hotel and residential units before defaulting on a significant loan and selling the Morrison Hotel.
As part of the new development, Relevant will receive a density bonus for incorporating 27 affordable units, indicating a commitment to addressing housing needs in the area.
