More than 10,000 people forced to evacuate in Los Angeles as out-of-control wildfire burns homes

"Firefighters and police cleared residents from neighbourhoods near Camarillo before homes were set ablaze by embers blown 3.2km from the fire front," said Ventura County fire department Captain Tony McHale.
"Fierce seasonal winds drove a wildfire down tinder-dry hillsides into ranches and homes, forcing over 10,000 people to evacuate communities northwest of Los Angeles," authorities stated.
