Landmark Properties is revising plans for a 12-story apartment building in Westwood to address the critical need for high-quality, affordable housing near UCLA.
The new building, The Metropolitan at Los Angeles, aims to replace older two-story apartments with a modern 84-unit highrise, incorporating incentives for affordable housing.
Jason Doornbos highlighted the importance of new housing developments in Westwood, stating, 'This neighborhood is desperately in need of newly built, high-quality housing, especially affordable units.'
Designed by LOHA, the 139-feet tall complex will include a range of apartment types and amenities, catering specifically to UCLA's student population.
