Marcy Carsey, co-founder of Carsey-Werner Company, sold her Malibu beachfront property to Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M, for $60 million through an off-market transaction. The 2.2-acre compound features 90 feet of private beach, a three-bedroom main house, two guest houses, a cottage, pool, and tennis court. The property was originally purchased by actor Richard Gere two decades ago and sold to Carsey in 2000 for approximately $10 million. Iovine, 61, co-founded Beats with Dr. Dre, which Apple acquired for $3 billion, and also co-founded Interscope Records. Carsey, 70, founded the television production company with Tom Werner in 1981.
