Gwyneth Paltrow Offloads Her Los Angeles Mansion for $22 Million
Briefly

Gwyneth Paltrow has sold her Brentwood, California home, originally purchased with ex-husband Chris Martin for $9.95 million, for $22 million. The property was listed for $29.9 million in May 2024 but saw price reductions, settling at $24.9 million before the final sale. Reasons for the sale include her children moving out and her plans to split time among her homes in LA, the Hamptons, and Montecito. This spacious equestrian estate features luxurious amenities and is adjacent to rapper Kendrick Lamar's property.
Paltrow first purchased the home with her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, in 2012 for $9.95 million. After finalizing their divorce in 2015, she retained the property.
As for why she's leaving the well-appointed dwelling, Paltrow told WSJ last year that her children were getting older and have since moved out.
The buyer's identity has not yet been revealed, but the home's final sale price of $22 million reflects a significant reduction from its initial listing.
The Brentwood property, a 1950s single-story equestrian estate, features luxurious amenities including six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a professional-grade kitchen, and a horse stable.
