Evacuating from the Los Angeles fires? Here are some resources to help
Briefly

At least five people are dead and nearly 180,000 are under evacuation orders as multiple fires continue to spread in the Los Angeles area, igniting widespread destruction and fear.
The fires have burned over 11,000 acres in the Pacific Palisades and 10,000 acres near Altadena and Pasadena, destroying more than 1,300 structures and threatening over 60,000 others.
Evacuation shelters have been set up across the region, including El Camino Real Charter High School and the Pasadena Convention Center, providing immediate refuge for those affected.
To aid those evacuating, Uber is offering a $40 credit, while 211 LA is partnering with Airbnb to provide free temporary housing for displaced individuals.
