This Atlanta Food Truck and Eatery Will Be on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives This Friday
Briefly

Yumbii, a popular Korean taco food truck founded by Carson Young in 2010, is set to appear on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives this Friday. Young, the first deaf chef featured on the show, expressed his initial nervousness about communication but formed a strong connection with host Guy Fieri. Yumbii, known for its diverse menu including Korean barbecue tacos and burritos, has expanded from a food truck into three brick-and-mortar locations. Young's inspiration came from his experiences in Los Angeles, where he discovered the vibrant food truck culture that propelled him to start his own business in Atlanta.
Filming DDD was great. Honestly, I was really nervous about my ability to communicate well since I'm the first deaf chef to be on the show.
Guy was so easy to talk to, and we really connected. We bonded in the kitchen over our shared love for food and unique flavor.
I worked in Midtown from 9 to 5, and it was so hard to get good food. We only had a cafeteria in the building.
Then I went on a trip to LA for the first time [...] I was driving around and I saw all the trucks, and I ate off some of them and it just clicked that I wanted to do this.
