The San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area offer a variety of events and activities for people to enjoy.
According to the temple, this is the largest collection of Buddha relics in the United States.
The 2024 theme is 'Past-Present-Future: Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Jackie Robinson.'
The event includes activities, crafts, carnival and lawn games, storytelling sessions by president and first lady portrayals (11 a.m.-2 p.m.), music by the Doo-Wah Riders (10 a.m.-noon) and by the Los Angeles Police Concert Band (1-3 p.m.).
Guided group tours include a meet-and-greet with a chinchilla, porcupine and a rabbit.
